Winter Music Fest III at Uncle Fatty’s!
We’re proud to be back at Uncle Fatty’s 3rd annual Winter Music Fest, Wednesday, January 25th. The fest is packed with a metric ton of bands and DJ’s during the fest. We’ll go on around 10:30 and play until something of importance breaks or until the poh-poh roll up, whichever comes last.

Their guitars that scream and the mics we wrecks,
It’s a party hosted by Threehorns and Longnecks.
We on at 5 and they bang till 10.
Five hours of mayhem separates boys from the men.
We hopin’ for sun at this annual treasure.
But if rain comes down, we tented for her pleasure.
So no mo’ mittens, shovels or boots to untie,
It’s time for the reason we live in the Chi.

We sincerely appreciate all the votes everyone has given us, but we just noticed that KISS-FM changed the rules in the middle of the game and extended the voting till next FRIDAY, presumably because of traffic from contests like ours where there thousands of votes are being logged each day. While we remain in the lead, many TWC fans (and we assume 16C fans) are less than thrilled that the rules have changed. If 16C fans help 16C to walk away with the “Chicago’s Band Cover Band” title from this voting — it’s cool cause they’re our homies and deserve it, but we don’t wanna keep asking our people to vote for a contest where the rules change in the middle of the game, forcing fan obsession to continue for five more days — all in the name of ad revenue and SEO. Sorry KISS, love ya and we appreciate the nomination but that was kinda crummy.
If this thing ever goes down again, the best contest would be an IP-based voting system, or maybe a once a day system, but then again, the accountants wouldn’t like those ad revenues as much!
