If you’ve already seen Too White Crew perform, then you know about their explosive stage performance and electric sound.
If you don’t know, now you know.
Band and MC’s
Leads Vocs, Keys
Too White Crew founder and MC, C-Note, a.k.a. “Cords”, was well on his way to a life-rotting corporate existence when he got the old school bug. Now he spends his days on stage trying to burn off all the Colt 45 and Boone’s Farm he drinks at shows.
Having played in several successful bands prior to joining TWC including Common Ground, Bad Daddy, and Austin City Limits, Drummer Stevie D, a.k.a. “Woodsy Fresh”, is the keeper of the beat that maintains the controlled chaos.
DJ Shor “T”
Turntables, Keys, Vocs, Percussion
Holdin’ down the North Siiide, TWC MC, DJ, keyboardist, and percussionist Tami, a.k.a. DJ Shor “T”, may be vertically challenged, but she’s got mad skills. When she’s not dreaming of slam dunks, she’s on stage tearin’ it up with some of the best spittin’ on two short legs.
Keys, Vocs, Percussion
Alex, a.k.a. “Elle Hoodz”, rocks the keyboards, vocals, guitar, and bass. This sweet, animal loving, coffee guzzling, studious, multi-instrumentalist may seem nice but, wait – never mind, she really is nice.
Guitar, Bass, Sax, Vocs
Mel, a.k.a. “Cornbread”, covers a lot of ground – on and off the TWC clock. Along with his TWC duties, he has been the guitarist on Empire for three seasons, he teaches guitar during the day and runs an open mic night in Chicago every week.
Bass, Guitar, Vocs
Sam, a.k.a. “Sam Onnit”, serves up the phat bass tones for TWC. When he’s not on stage, you can usually find him rollin’ bones somewhere trying not to lose stacks on stacks. This self-proclaimed super dope homeboy is happiest when he’s thumpin’ strings.
Mouth, Turntables, Keys, Vocs, Percussion
Patrick, a.k.a. “P Tugz”, is an accomplished freestylist and MC for TWC. Coming in at 6’5″, he also towers over the Crew. Admittedly obsessed with Soul Train re-runs, P Tugz was once considered a class clown. Now look who’s clownin’.
Dancer, Rapper, Photog, Goodwill Ambassador
David, a.k.a. “Da Legend”, is a trained professional dancer who has become a jack of all trades for TWC. From being in the crowd taking pictures to rapping to break dancing, he is a TWC party starter for realz.
Jeshka, a.k.a. “Juicebox”, is the leader of the TWC Fly Girls. Ladies, go ahead and get mad – Juicebox is one of those who can eat and drink anything with no consequences. Body rockin’, feet flyin’, she’s the perfect combination of smart, silly, and fly.
If Yvonne, a.k.a. “Hot Wheelz”, looks familiar, it might be because she delivered yo baby! An O.B. nurse by day and gym rat by night, Hot Wheelz is a rock hard dancing machine who is not afraid of a 4AM club or that round of shots.
Jen, a.k.a. “Lemon Drop”, is a furrealz ballerina, dance instructor, yoga instructor, and all-around kind soul. When she’s not on stage, she’s out breakin’ hearts and breakin’ bread with her childhood buddy Juicebox. Namaste.
KitKat, our resident party starter originally from Indiana is no stranger to the stage. Been in TWC since 2014 & dances for multiple kick-ass professional dance companies. Talents ranging from fly girl to breakdancing. KitKat can throw down. If you want to get on her good side, buy her a shot and talk about reggae. Break me off a piece of THAT!
Kristen, a.k.a. “Backstop”, may have majored in dance at Michigan University, but she got her masters in lighting up the TWC stage. Why Backstop? Because nuttin’ gets past dat booty!
Bella, a.k.a. Red Hot, is a smokeshow who moved her fly self to L.A. in 2017 to make it big but TWC still flies her back for shows. Red Hot answers the question, “What happens when you raise a girl proper in Geneva, IL but also gives her looks, smarts and crazy talent?”
Kaitlin, a.k.a. “West Side”, is a true perfectionist when it comes to her dance moves and freestyle technique. She may be small but her passion and personality are larger than life. Hailing from way west of Chicago in Cortland, West Side grew up dancing with Red Hot!
California girl turned TWC Fly Girl, Porscha, a.k.a. “High Top”, enjoys dancing more than anything. High Top’s got that “The party starts right HERE!” vibe about her that let’s people know what’s about to go down. Fierce, fly and compact, High Top packs a punch!
You may have seen TWC Fly Girl Candis, a.k.a. “U.F.O.”, dancing in a Twista video, or teaching pole fitness, but if you want to take a class now, you’ll have to go to “So-Cal”, where she and three other TWC Fly Girls defected! But that doesn’t stop TWC from flying her in for shows!
Extremely Worthless Posse
TWC shows regularly feature a table full of O.G’s on stage whose only contribution to the show was to take up space. Behold, TWC’s Extremely Worthless Posse.
You’ll find posse members like “Baby Huey”,”Sho Nuff”,”GPS”, and “CapNCrunch” hanging around at shows, freeloading and drinking 40’s. Please don’t feed the animals.
